The Renowned Australia Economist Prof. Huang Youguang Delivers a Speech in School of Economics
Prof. Huang Youguang, Monash University, Academician of Australia Academy of Social Sciences, delivered his speech on `Fallacies of Nobel Laureate and Common People` on 2nd November 2011.
He enumerated several general fallacies of economics, from the perspectives of public figures, students, economists and Nobel Laureates. He pointed out that those fallacies had partially resulted in objection to technology improvement, immigration, trade and environment protection etc., and influenced the efficiency and development of economy. He also figured that the fallacy rectification should be carried out quickly.
