2012 China Capital Growth Forum
Co-held by School of Economics of PKU, Committee of Distinguished Experts of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas, China Securities Journal, Zhongguancun Capital Market Research Society, Southwest Securities, the `2012 China Capital Growth Forum` took place at Yangguang Hall of Yingjie Exchange Centre of PKU on 14th January, 2012.
More than 20 economists, government officials and over 500 professional people from School of Economics of PKU, National Development Research Centre, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, China Securities Regulatory Commission, Southwest Securities attended the forum which dividing by three sections: macroeconomic situation outlook, micro-outlook and capital market outlook.
The topic of this forum is `2012 Chinese Economy: Overcoming a Crisis or Not?`. European debt crisis has brought huge impact on world economy in the past year. Under this background, this forum worked on the following issues: 1. fully discuss and analyse the trend of world economy crisis and its impact on Chinese economy; 2. fully consider the effect, advantages and disadvantages of world`s solution on debt crisis; 3. discuss whether our major economics strategy adjustment focusing on expanding domestic demand and accelerating the economy development transition could urge low-carbon economy, green economy, environmental economy, high technology economy and other strategic new industry to enhance self-innovation ability and economy growth; 4. discuss how would livelihood issues harmoniously combine with sound social insurance system and sound income distribution system reform; 5. program how to construct a strategy that makes China capital growth and real economy development rely on each other and co-benefit; 6. interpret the fortune effect and many opportunities of 2012 Chinese security market.
The forum lasted for more than ten hours. All the participants stated that they have learned a lot from it.
