Chair of the University Council, Zhu Shanlu Visits School of Economics

On 15^{th March 2012, Chair of University Council of Peking University, Zhu Shanlu came to School of Economics for investigation and survey. Yang Kaizhong, the General Secretary, Ma Huaxiang, the President Assistant and Director of Communist Office and other relevant members accompanied.}

Prof. Sun Qixiang, Dean of School of Economics, introduced the development history and current situation of School of Economics, from the aspects of Scientific Research, Teaching and International Relations etc. She indicated that School of Economics will  sum up experiences as an opportunity of the Centennial Anniversary, also, taking the Centennial Anniversary as a new start, strive to the strategic objective of being more academic, more internationalized, and more social-influenced.

Zhu Shanlu had highly appreciated the performance of School of Economics, and he conveyed his blessing towards the Centennial Anniversary as well as all teachers and students of School of Economics. He expressed that the university will fully support the School to conduct activities of the Centennial Anniversary, and he also hoped that School of Economics could sum up the experiences at this moment so as to continue innovation on the premise of stability, to follow a unique way that the School develops, meanwhile, he pointed out that School of Economics should hold its historical responsibilities to make contributions to accelerate the process of building Peking University as the World Class University.
