On October 28, the 2015 Beijing Financial Development Index was jointly released by Peking University and Beijing Financial Development Promotion Center at SEPKU.

The conference was chaired by Prof. Song Min, Director of the Center for Financial Innovation and Development of SEPKU. Prof. Huang Guitian, Assistant President of Peking University attended and addressed on the conference. The index was released by Mr. Hao Shuobo, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance. Professor Wang Yiming, Director of Finance Department of SEPKU interpreted the index. SEPKU Professor Li Qingyun, State Council Counselor, Executive Vice President Song Bin of China Equity Investment Fund Association, and Executive Vice President Zhang Xinfu of Internet Pratt & Whitney Financial Research Institute fully affirmed the research significance and achievements of the index.

The Beijing Financial Development Index is based upon 1000 points in 2010 as the base period. In 2015 it roses to 2502.35 with an increase of 28.63% and the average annual compound annual growth rate of 20.13%, showing strong and robust development momentum of Beijing Financial Industry. Among them, the financial innovation indicators become the 2015 financial development index of Beijing`s contribution to the growth of Beijing`s financial development index to accelerate the promotion has made outstanding contributions. Among them, the financial innovation indicators become the 2015 Beijing financial development index growth contribution point, which made outstanding contributions to accelerate the Beijing Financial Development Index promotion.

The release of the 2015 Beijing Financial Development Index has received extensive concern of the public and media.
