On Nov. 17, Professor Carl P. Zeithaml, Dean of the McIntire School of Commerce of UVA, Ms. Darci Spuck, Head of the Alumni Office of UVA, and Mr. Justin O’ Jack, Chief Representative of UVA in China, visited SEPKU. Dean Sun Qixiang met with the guests, Assistant Dean Suo Lingyan and Assistant Dean Qin Xuezheng attended the meeting.

Dean Sun Qixiang first welcomed the guests and hoped to achieve substantive cooperation with McIntire Business School. Dean Zeithaml gave a detailed account of the McIntire Business School, including the Master`s program, the implementation of projects in cooperation with China, and the development of international master`s degree programs. Subsequently, Assistant Dean Qin Xuezheng gave detailed de1111ion about the history, teaching strength, faculty, students, research profiles, alumni development, international cooperation and other aspects of SEPKU.

The visit aims to deepen the cooperation with SEPKU on the basis of previous communication to carry out the international double degree master program. Dean Sun pointed out that the double degree program is of great significance to the cultivation of students’ ability, the development of vision and the promotion of comprehensive quality. Both sides gave positive affirmation of the double degree master degree program cooperation and extended full discussion about duration of schooling, credit settings, teaching professionalism and other details. The two sides also look forward to the cooperation on conventional international projects such as summer school and undergraduate exchange.
