On October 17th, Professor Lan Wooton, Associate Dean of Strathclyde Business School, visited SEPKU. Associate Professor Qin Xuezheng, Assistant Dean of SEPKU, Associate Professor Yuna Cheng, Associate Professor Xu Yunxiao and Assistant Professor Chen Yi received the guests.

Associate Professor Qin Xuezheng briefed the guests on the basic situation of the subject setting, teachers level and international co-operation of SEPKU. Professor Lan Wootton gave a detailed account of the professional setting, undergraduate and master`s degree programs at Strathclyde Business School, and highlighted the importance attached to the internationalization of students.

The two sides discussed the student exchange, Master and Ph. D. students exchange visits and other possible modes of cooperation, hoping to gradually achieve a number of cooperation and exchanges. Finally, Associate Prof. Yuan Cheng and Associate Professor Xu Yunxiao introduced the relevant situation of the Department of Finance and welcomed the arrival of Professor Lan Wootton.

Mr. Lan Wootton is Associate Dean and Professor of Economics of Strathclyde Business School. He is co-founder and co-organizer of the European Trade Study Group (ETSG). His papers are found in the Economic Journal, the European Economic Review, the International Economic Review, the Journal of Development Economics, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Public Economics, and other journals. His research covers international trade and investment, international tax competition and public economics and other fields.
