Recently, the 2017 US Risk and Insurance Management Association (RIMS) annual conference and exhibition was held in Philadelphia, the United States. Associate Professor Liu Xinli from Department of Risk Management and Insurance of SEPKU, and five students were invited to attend the meeting. During the week-long tour, the delegation attended a variety of lectures and exchanged views with experts in many risk management areas and industry elites.

The RIMS Annual Conference and Exhibition arranged a total of nearly 200 keynote speeches in 14 categories, including Claim Management, Cyber Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Public Risk Management, Emerging Risks, Risk Control, Risk financing, legal and regulation, insurance and contract management, Career Development, and so on. In addition, the organizers organized a large-scale exhibition at the Pennsylvania Convention and Exhibition Center, providing a platform for demonstrating and socializing up to more than 400 companies involved in risk management and insurance business from around the world. During the meeting, the delegation not only actively participated in various lectures, but also carried out extensive exchanges with the business representatives. These industries and the company`s degree of specialization and innovation initiatives left a deep impression to everyone.
