The "One Belt One Road and Enterprises` Going-out High-level Forum" was held on April 28. The event aims to actively respond to the upcoming "Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation", and actively play the important role of SEPKU as an important base for economic personnel training and economic scientific research and an important think tank of national economic and social development.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dong Zhiyong, Vice Dean of SEPKU. Professor Sun Qixiang, Dean of SEPKU, and Mr. Gao Duqiang, Chairman of Zhonggufashang, addressed successively.

Dean Sun Qixiang expressed her warm congratulations on the forum and expressed sincere welcome and gratitude to the guests. Dean Sun stressed that Peking University attaches great importance to "the Belt and Road" research. The school-level has set up a country-wide regional research institute, and also organized a number of related seminars. As the cradle of China`s economic disciplines, SEPKU has a long history of international economic and trade professional, long-term tracking of international issues of international economic research institute, a group of world economic research achievements of experts and scholars.

Based on B&R, which mainly contents policy communication, facility connections, trade flow, capital financing and popular communication, Dean Sun noted that there are many issues need to be answered, discussed and resolved, such as how can the B&R really becomes an action to promote the development of prosperity and the construction of human fate community, how to combine the rapid development of China`s economy with the interests of the countries along the B&R, in line with the principle of win-win cooperation along the premise of China`s own position.

Mr. Gao Duqiang noted in his speech that Zhonggu Group has attached great importance to cooperation with universities. The cooperation with SEPKU on the forum is another deep collaboration after the legal business group’s set up. He believed that the two sides will complement each other and bear fruit.
