On September 10, SEPKU held the 2015 Orientation Ceremony. Professor Liu Wei, Vice President of PKU, Professor Sun Qixiang, Dean of SEPKU, Professor Zhang Zheng, Vice Dean of SEPKU, attended the ceremony. More than 300 undergraduate and postgraduate freshmen participated in the ceremony. Suo Lingyan, the Assistant Dean hosted the ceremony.

This year, SEPKU welcomed 157 full-time undergraduates, 115 graduates and 41 doctoral freshmen, coming from 33 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and more than 10 countries including the United States, South Korea and Japan. Dean Sun further proposed the responsibility and mission that the college should assume in the future.

Professor Wang Yuesheng, Director of International Economy and Trade Department, made a presentation. He shared his 36 years’ experience in SEPKU and encouraged the students to study hard, to take advantage of limited time in university to think about economics seriously.
