On December 7th, 2019, SEPKU successfully held the“Hundred Dean’s Forum”: Seventy Years Theoretical Economics. The forum aims at discussing the exploration, construction, and implementation in Theoretical Economics to promote social development.

　　The distinguished guests included Professor Gu Shengzu, Deputy Chairman of CPPCC, Dean of National Institute of Development Strategy, Wuhan University, and Adjunct Professor of Peking University and Tsinghua University, Professor Wang Guangqian, Former President of Central University of Finance and Economics and Chairman of Ministry of Education Supervisory Committee for Professional Degrees in Finance, Professor Zhao Zhongxiu, President of Shandong University of Finance and Economics and Chairman of Ministry of Education Supervisory Committee for Professional Degrees in Economics and Trade, Professor Ye Jingyi, Deputy Chairman of the Peking University Council and Discipline Inspection Secretary of Peking University, and 158 deans from 136 economic schools. The forum consisted of the opening ceremony, keynote speeches, panel forums, and the career fair. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Zhang Hui, Deputy Dean and Chairman of the Academic Board of SEPKU.

　　The panel forum “China's Theoretical Economic Talent Cultivation and Disciplinary Development over the Past 70 Years” was presided by Professor Suo Lingyan, Deputy Dean of SEPKU.
